Research: Introduction to Camera Framing and Camera Composition Power Point (Part 1)
Camera framing is the placement and position of the subjects in a shot. In camera framing, the slide that I had contained crowd shot, point of view shot, over the shoulder shot, and insert shot. A crowd shot is a shot of 6 or more people in one frame. A POV shot is a shot of the point of view of a character. An over the shoulder shot is a shot where a subject is being shown behind the shoulder of another character. An insert shot is a shot that focuses on the viewers' attention to a specific object or detail in the scene.
In this assignment I worked with my partner, Michelle C. We separated the work amongst us by having one slide for each topic. In this assignment I did shots #5-8 for camera framing, explaining the definition, two key points about the shot I chose, the name of the movie of the image I incorporated in the slide, and the action line for the image.
