Introduction to Camerawork Warm-Up Preliminary Exercise 6 (Part 2)

The key concepts that we were introduced to in camerawork is that there are different types of shots and angles that are incorporated in a film. Shot sizes are how much of the setting or subject is displayed in a frame. Camera angles marks the specific location at which the camera is placed to take a shot. I was introduced to this content by the videos from studiobinder. The media product that I completed was a storyboard draft. The shot sizes that I documented was establishing wide shot (ES), master shot (MS), wide shot (WS), full shot (FS), medium full shot (MFS), medium shot (MS), medium close up (MCU), close up (CU), extreme close up (ECU). The camera angles that I documented are low angle (LA), high angle shot (HA), overhead shot, dutch angle, eye level shot, hip level shot, knee level shot, and ground level shot. The information that was most interesting was that there is an angle called the dutch angle and that there are multiple angles and shot sizes that are used. Three adjectives that describe this concept creative, innovative, and understandable. Some jobs that are associated in the film industry are acting, directing, producing, cinematography, etc.
